Where Women Glow And Men Plunder

20th Century Fox has announced a March 3rd release date for Australia, the epic romance starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. The film is widely regarded as a disappointment because it failed to spawn any catchphrases as infectious as "That's not a knife..." Australia will be released on both DVD and Blu-ray.

Another Disc To Buy

Daniel Craig returns for his second outing as 007 in the worldwide blockbuster Quantum Of Solace, set for release on March 24th. The film will be released as a single disc DVD, two disc Special Edition DVD, and a high definition Blu-ray. And if I was a gambling man, I'd say it's a safe bet we can expect to see some more catalog Bond films show up on Blu-ray around that time.

Role Out

Universal Studios has announced a March 10th release date for the hit comedy Role Models. The film, starring Seann William Scott and Paul Rudd (who also co-wrote the script), is the story of two social misfits forced into mentoring troubled kids as part of a court ordered community service, and will be released on both DVD and Blu-ray containing both rated and unrated versions of the film.

Zack And Miri Set A Release Date

Zack And Miri Make A Porno, Kevin Smith's latest raunchfest starring Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks, has been announced for release by the Weinstein Company on February 3rd on DVD and Blu-ray. Although a bit of a box office dud, the film was hailed by critics as Smith's best in years and like his previous films should experience a second life on home video.
